I can’t help but giggle when I think about the very first website I created in 2001. It was made entirely in Flash with background music. I know. I just rolled my eyes too. Hey – it was on trend at the time and had a bold typography layout. It’s amazing how technology and design trends go hand in hand. As a curious and growing designer, I had to learn and adapt to these changes.

There’s been a couple more website versions for the Design Studio I had back in Adelaide, but it just never felt quite right.

I feel like I’ve come full circle creating a new website again on my own – and it just feels like home.

There were many questions asked, learning the ropes of Word Press, brushing up  my html and css skills but it was the portfolio section that challenged me most. It’s always harder when it is your own design piece you’ve got to create. I can be quite critical about my work, but that comes naturally as a designer.

After many sleep deprived nights and 2 cups of coffee a day, I can finally welcome you to the new website!

I’m also introducing this blog section where I’ll be sharing my thoughts on everything creative that stimulates this mind.
